EV Charger Installation Gauteng | Anictom

EV Charger Installation

Anictom is qualified and authorised to install home and business EV charging points across Gauteng. Every installation is wired correctly, load-tested, and fully compliant with SANS 10142-1. Where the property holds a current valid Certificate of Compliance, a COC is issued for the new EV charger circuit on completion — so your charger is safe, insurer-accepted, and ready to use from day one.

Why Install a Dedicated Home Charger?

Plugging an EV into a standard wall socket works, but it’s slow, puts unnecessary strain on household wiring, and isn’t designed for the sustained draw of overnight charging. A dedicated charging point is safer, faster, and properly load-balanced against the rest of your installation.

  • Faster charging — a dedicated Level 2 charger charges 4–6× faster than a standard 15A plug
  • Safer wiring — correctly sized dedicated circuit, breaker protection, and earth leakage protection installed to SANS 10142-1
  • COC on completion — a Certificate of Compliance is issued for the EV charger circuit where the property holds a current valid COC, giving insurers and banks what they need
  • Solar-ready — we assess whether your existing solar or off-grid system can handle the additional EV load, and advise on upgrades if needed
